With Tess Aract’s apparent death, Scriptliss becomes depressed, as he had no way of saving his friend, and deems himself as far more than a mistake, but useless. Later, Glyph teases Sphara over her feelings for Scriptliss whilst in the Ruby Sands with her, meanwhile Scriptliss and Dusekkar discuss Antagon in the Citrus Cafe. Tess Aract is completely eradicated in the Rift of Light, and the Rift of Light disappears as well, absorbed by 1x1x1x1. Antagon tricked him into wearing the Void Star, making it easier to manipulate him and fills his mind with darkness. With the help of Dusekkar’s brother Lanter and a sage named Sphara, Scriptless and the main cast travel to the Rift of Light, a plane of existence that is pure light, and find out that one of the doors is opened, worrying Scriptliss as his friend, Tess Aract, currently being formed into 1x1x1x1, is in immense pain in the Rift of Light. In Beyond the Fold, Scriptliss befriends the player, as he was freed from the Wastebasket, since he wished to be free, and was freed by Antagon, though this is not known to either the player or Scriptliss. Once Scriptliss’ Mistakes are found, through hearing into his conversations, or through finding them directly, he and the Mistakes are sealed on the shrine, and though this doesn’t physically seal Scriptliss, or the Mistakes, but instead leaves him tortured for years. While seeming to be threatening in that his mistakes were deemed as being able to tear apart reality, and were going to sealed by “The Folded”, Scriptliss is revealed to be doing it for many reasons, but most notably, that they are parts of his soul, and the Player is getting in his way from this. In the first game, Scriptliss left the Wastebasket's shrine, created to seal away mistakes, to hide them across Paper Robloxia and other realities.
